STEM Lab

STEM has over the last decade taken its own standing as a discipline rather than just an admixture of Science and Math. The Nextgen STEM lab is a unique example of this new discipline and way of thinking.

The Lab consists example project ideas and equipment as well as instrumentation which enables a student to make physical projects using Science Mathematics and Engineering.

Science- The discipline of thinking in a scientific manner, designing and conducting experiments drawing conclusions and to be able to investigate phenomena.

Technology – To use computers and 3D printing technology fpr simulations and making affordable methods for investigative projects.

Engineering – To seek Design answers to problems which are around us and which make human life and environment better.

Math – To learn the discipline of Math not as a procedure but as method of thinking and to seek creativity in investigations in the mental realm of Mathematics.

The STEM lab requires 3D printing technology, basic fabrication, at least 5 Computers. In addition, an ensemble of scientific materials and instruments are part of the lab along with some completed projects as inspirational examples.

The Lab teaches students to integrate not subjects but methods of thought and prepares students for an integrated future.
